A woman drives through the night, back and forth, visiting her dying mother.
She smokes, she listens to advice on the mobile phone but most of all she thinks and dreams.
Will her mother live or die and which outcome does she long for most?
One thing is certain she and her mother have never seen eye to eye, never even been able to share a joke.
